Eurotape, our media company for the film sector, archives, home entertainment and television, had a ton (!) in the post these days. Not filled with petroleum, but just as valuable. Customers from faraway England used the container to transport old film treasures, which are now being scanned, restored and lovingly hand-digitised for future generations in our Berlin studio. Decisive for the choice of the barrel were safety reasons, because old film material is based on nitrocellulose and is highly flammable. And so the highly explosive treasure arrived safely, and the building is still standing too... 😉
