75 years of DEFA, 75 years of great film history, but also political censorship. And in the middle of it all, a little bit of the Eurotape-Studio of the Nordkurier Mediengruppe, which has already digitised many films in cooperation with the DEFA Foundation as the administrator of the GDR film stock. "We are glad that saving film heritage continues to be an issue, because there are still many treasures lurking in the archives," says studio manager Ralf Jesse.
