Great excitement, great joy these days at the Pasewalk Association for the Disabled. The reason is a 29,000 euro donation from the Nordkurier readers' aid organisation, which brought tears of joy to the eyes of the association's deputy chairwoman Sybille Meyer. She had really resolved "not to cry today", as she revealed at the symbolic handing over of the cheque.
The association for the disabled urgently needed a new van, not an off-the-shelf one, but one with many necessary extras. And thanks to Nordkurier readers and many other sponsors, the Opel is already rolling through the country.
